InerGen Gas

What is Inergen?

Inergen is an Ineart Gas Mixture used for the purpose of extinguishing fire inside a closed room or enclosure. It can be used with any class of fire and also called as IG 541. Inergen gas is Mixture of Other Atmospheric gases like Argon, Nitrogen & Carbon Di Oxide. All these gases are available in our atmosphere and are produced from Atmosphere using Cryogenic Distillation / Air Separation techniques or CO2 can also be produced as a byproduct. All these three gases, produced individually are mixed in a controlled manner using highly accurate techniques to give a proper composition of Inergen Gas.

Refilling & Hydro testing of Inergen / Argonite Gas Cylinders at 300 Bar

In many industrial processes, high-pressure gases like Inergen and Argonite are crucial for fire suppression systems. These gases are stored in gas cylinders, which need to be refilled and hydro tested regularly to ensure their safety and effectiveness. Refilling and hydro testing these gas cylinders require specialized equipment and procedures, especially at 300 Bar pressure levels.

Refilling and hydro testing of Inergen and Argonite gas cylinders at 300 Bar is a challenging task that requires a high level of precision and expertise. It involves carefully controlling the gas flow and pressure to ensure that the cylinders are filled to the required levels and are safe for use. Hydrostatic testing is also a critical process that ensures that the cylinder walls are free from any defects or leaks.

This is where Axcel Gases come into play. Axcel Gases is well-equipped to handle the refilling and hydro testing of Inergen and Argonite gas cylinders at 300 Bar. They have the latest equipment and trained personnel to ensure that the gas is handled with the utmost care and attention to detail. Axcel Gases facilities are designed to handle large volumes of gas cylinders, making them an ideal choice for companies that require frequent refilling and hydro testing.

The hydrostatic testing process is essential for ensuring the safety and reliability of gas cylinders. During this process, the cylinder is filled with water and pressurized to a level above its rated pressure. This pressure is maintained for a set period while the cylinder is checked for any leaks or defects. This testing process is carried out every few years to ensure that the cylinders are still safe for use.

Refilling and hydro testing of Inergen and Argonite gas cylinders at 300 Bar is a critical process that requires specialized equipment and procedures. Axcel Gases is a reliable choice for companies that require the safe handling of these high-pressure gases. Their facilities are well-equipped for refilling and hydro testing of Inergen and Argonite gas cylinders at 300 Bar, and their trained personnel ensure that the gas is handled with the utmost care and precision. With their expertise and state-of-the-art facilities, Axcel Gases is the ideal partner for any company looking for safe and reliable refilling and hydro testing of Inergen and Argonite gas cylinders at 300 Bar pressure levels.

Why Axcel Gases?

Axcel Gases being a manufacturer of all these three gases are well equipped and highly experienced for production and mixing of such gases and providing a good quality product. The main function of Inergen Gas upon flushing is to deplete Oxygen inside a room / enclosure to such a level that it does not helps in burning and at the same time keeping enough Oxygen to facilitate breathing of Humans if present at the fire accident place. Inergen does not leave behind any residue or toxic material. It does not create any threat of Environmental Hazard or does not deplete Ozone layer and that is why is called an environment friendly gas. Axcel Gases is well Equipped to Fill Inergen Gas Cylinders upto 300 Bar.

Common Uses & Application in Industry :

  • In a Flooding system to remove / extinguish fire from an Electric Room, Sub Stations & Control Rooms.
  • To Extinguish Fire inside a highly sensitive Electronics Room.
  • To extinguish fire happened in a Flammable Liquid Storage Vessel / Room.
  • To Extinguish Fire of a generator / engine room.

These are some of the common uses of Nitrogen. There are various other ways in which Inergen can be used in a particular industry or process.
